C.EL.ME, founded in 1971, has celebrated its 30th year of business.
The company was first established to manufacture gravity slicers with blade diameters of 220, 250 and 275, but over the years it has developed its range with the production of stainless steel gravity and vertical slicers with blade diameters of 300, 350 and 370 and the 350 automatic line.
In 1976 the production of the CHEF vegetable chopper, with its wide variety of disks, began and in 1983 the CHEF PIZZA mozzarella cheese chopper was introduced, these patented devices, which are well known on the market, have allowed C.EL.ME to became one of the leaders in the sector of professional appliances for hotel, catering and institutional use.
In 2000 Celme began production of the patented PAL dough rounder and the new Magnum TV 330 high performance vegetable and cheese chopper.
The factory in Truccazzano, on the outskirts of Milan, was renovated and expanded in 1999 and now has a covered surface area of 4,500 square metres.
C.EL.ME exports more than the 50% of its production and is present in all the EU countries (European Union), in Central and Southern America, the USA, Middle East, Russia, Australia and the Far East, offering its national and international clientele quality that is guaranteed by an ISO 9001:2000 quality management system, awarded by ICIM, certificate no. 1367/1 dated 21.10.02 and registered by IQNET (The International Certification Network) registration no. IT-7994.
The first Certification that the company aimed for and obtained, in 1999, was the result of Management policy to undertake years of design and production of innovative machinery that have allowed for the constant development of the company.
